This is our largest boutique bed and breakfast room, decorated in cream and red. Sleeping two on a very comfortable queen bed, it is a flexible room with the ability to host two additional guests on the queen-sized pull out sofa - this is a perfect bed for children. This room has a private ensuite with a walk-in shower. Inside you’ll find two fluffy bathrobes and toiletries including locally made goat’s milk soap and Tasmanian hand soap, shampoo and conditioner from ‘Naturally Millie Ma’.

Your room comes with extra blankets, an electric blanket on your bed and a room heater to reduce the Tassie chill and increase the cosiness.

This is a corner suite looking out over the verandah down to paddocks, our dams and the willow trees lazily swaying in the breeze. If you sit quietly you’ll hear sheep bleating in the paddocks, our hens clucking and gossiping as they go about their chicken business and sometimes tractors in neighboring properties.

At particular times of year, there is a two-night stay minimum in the Finch and Cherry but trust us, once you’re here one night won’t be long enough.

This is our spacious middle sized bed and breakfast room decorated in sage green and taupe. Sparrow and Sage has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, inside you’ll find two fluffy bathrobes and toiletries including locally made goat’s milk soap and Tasmanian hand soap, shampoo and conditioner from ‘Naturally Millie Ma’.

This is a corner suite looking out to the verandah on one side and the sun room on the other. If you’re lucky you’ll hear sheep bleating in the paddocks, our hens clucking and gossiping as they go about their chicken business and you might even spot a wandering goose.

The Blue Bird and Berry room is our cosy attic style bed and breakfast room decorated in splashes of blue and white. The Blue Bird and Berry room has a private bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower (with a step up), you’ll find two fluffy bathrobes and toiletries including locally made goat’s milk soap and Tasmanian hand soap, shampoo and conditioner from ‘Naturally Millie Ma’.

Your room comes with extra blankets, an electric blanket on your bed and a room heater to help reduce the Tassie chill.

The Blue Bird and Berry room has a view out over the orchards where you might spot some of the nosy chickens wandering about or hear a goose honking from the dam.

At particular times of year, this room has a two-night minimum stay but one night wouldn’t be long enough anyway!

If you have a larger family or friends group and want to secure Stanton Farmhouse all for yourselves we are happy to accommodate this at a special reduced rate, inclusive of breakfast for all guests. Your party can enjoy the Bluebird & Berry, Sparrow & Sage and Finch & Cherry rooms, as well as the drawing room, dining room, sun room, tea room and verandahs. This option is perfect for groups with children. Whole of House bookings require a minimum two night stay.

The Farm Shack is a charming brick outbuilding on our 16 acre historic property. Think of the Farm Shack as “glamping” - it is much more comfortable and warmer alternative to camping for a couple or two friends who would be happy to share the queen bed.

Your bathroom is shared with the family, only a short walk to the main house. The Farm Shack does not include breakfast, however it contains your own kettle, toaster, mini fridge, biscuits, tea, coffee and, of course, hot chocolate and marshmallows to warm your hands and bellies sat around the camp fire. You also have your own undercover food preparation area and small gas BBQ and all cooking equipment thoughtfully supplied.

Open the fold-back glass doors onto a private grassed area where you can relax under the almond tree around your own camp fire under the clear Tassie night skies.

As hinted by the name, the Farm Shack is close to our farmyard animals, including ducks, chickens and geese. If you are a fan of animals then you’ll find their noise and goings-on charming! If you are not a fan of animals or farm life, then fear not - a room in the main house will be more your style.
